Emily Rose Adderson

My fascination with production/set design first began when I was a child. An avid Doctor Who fan, I ended up watching the behind the scenes after each episode in an attempt to avoid nightmares. Watching the creative process behind every spacecraft, alien world, extraterrestrial device, etc, amazed me. I decided, from the very first behind the scenes feature I ever watched, that I would one day work in that same industry.

Studying at USW has only heightened my appreciation for the design process. My education has allowed me to refine essential skills such as technical drawing, model making, and even helped me discover a confidence I have never experienced before. I look forward to making my first venture into this exciting world, after years of dreaming about it, and I can't wait to see where the industry takes me.
